Alessandro Segalini

AdiAnimali was created out of a collaboration with Italian illustrator Anna Donadelli, merging bitmap type design and children’s book concepts. The font is indeed language-specific, with each upper case letter being represented by a stylized illustration of an animal whose name in Italian starts with the same letter. The plan to design a book with 26 animal stories is still open.
