A 6×9" 156-page book, with semi-automatic line justification (33 lines per page). The book is set in Cormorant, a sharp serif Garamond derivative, and the display font is Halyard Micro. Typesetting time: 3 weeks in 20 design sessions; 5 proofing files.

Cover design details:

6×9", spine size 0.362"(156 pp.).
The cover art is a blend of an early 17th century Ming dynasty Chinese map (the whole world as “ten thousands kingdoms”) and a portrait of Pierre Joris, by visual artist Nicole Peyrafitte. The text on the front and spine is set in Cormorant, and features a digitalization of the author’s signature.
