A 5×8" 258-page book, with semi-automatic line justification (28 lines per page), 29 custom footnotes, and five black & white, partially restored photographs. The book is set in FF Auroc Text Quart, a knife-sharp petite-serif typeface with an organic touch, and the display font is VC Henrietta, an Art Nouveau derivative face, puffy and poised, legible, and with a punch. Typesetting time: 4 weeks in 29 design sessions; 8 proofing files.

Cover design details:

5×8", spine size 0.580" (258 pp.).
The cover is based on Jean-Marc Reiser’s original French film poster for La Grande Bouffe. The illustration was processed and digitized in vector graphics for precise color application. The display font is VC Henrietta.
