Sîn-lēqi-unninni version (Stuart Kendall, tr.)
A 4.37×7" 324-page book, set solid (no linespace) in MT Dante, a robust, legible, humanist typeface to accommodate 40 lines per page max. and render the reading space of a translated “stelæ.” The copy is structured unjustified with four scripted levels of indent, and custom lineation. Typesetting time: 4 weeks in 22 design sessions; 12 proofing files.

The cover features an image of the demon Humbaba (terracotta, c. 2000–1500 bce, Iraq Museum, Baghdad, Iraq) and the glyphic, wedged display typeface STF Justice (also used for headings).
