A 7×10" 160-page book with 3 copy-fit tests pre-typesetting, fine- tuned parameters (type size, line space, measure) for a complex architecture due to the line-# scholarly apparatus aligned to the footnotes. Extensive editorial work in collaboration with Rainer J. Hanshe. Typesetting time: 4 weeks in 46 design sessions; 17 proofing files.

Cover design details:

7×10", spine size 0.342" (160 pp.).
Cover in collaboration with photographer Stewart Smith. The sublime image “Up for Air, Langdale Pikes” (2011) is a picture of the actual North West England landscape described in the book. The typeface, Adobe Jenson, is set elegantly at the bottom of the image in symmetric blocks, giving the cover the feel of a picturesque movie poster.
