Gelato is an update of a display, handwritten script font originally designed in 2006 for Algida “Carte d’Or” ice cream packaging. The digitalization process optimized the number of control points for each glyph, retaining the rough, creamy contours of the letters. The Expert font has 65 cursive ligatures and finial letters. The font supports 80 languages.
