A 5×8" 562-page book, with semi-automatic line justification (28 lines per page), and 326 endnotes. The book is set in Auroc, and the display fonts are Epilogue Bold and Lapture Bold. Contra Mundum Press gratefully acknowledges the financial support received from the Austrian Ministry of Education, Arts, & Culture. Excerpts from the book can also be read at Socrates on the Beach. Typesetting time: 12 weeks in 102 design sessions; 17 proofing files.

Cover design details:

5×8", spine size 1.252" (562 pp.).
The design features a portrait of Robert Musil that I improved using AI, and a custom-made paper texture at the back. Musil’s signature was digitized in vector graphics for scalability and expressive use in green. The text is set in Auroc.
