A 6×9" 740-page book, with semi-automatic line justification for prose (33 lines per page), 213 endnotes, and 26 footnotes in the Afterword by the translator. The first volume of Prae was typeset in 2014. The title page features a digital reconstruction of the caps used in the original 1980 edition for the title, and of the author’s signature. Typesetting time: 13 weeks in 76 design sessions; 20 proofing files.

Cover design details:

6×9", spine size 1.626" (740 pp.).
Cover design features a digital reconstruction in Fontlab of the caps used to set the title “PRAE” in the original 1980 edition, with a custom ‘RA’ ligature to optically optimize the tracking of the title, and a digitalization of the author’s signature and asterisk mark for flexible color reproduction.
