A 7×10" 324-page book with custom programming. I have the copyright on typesetting for this volume, for its particular text articulation and a custom markup system that enabled 90 % automation for formatting with the programmed style sheets; the theater script, spoken by a number of voices, included time stamps and was rendered with markup-specific font styling. Translating from a multi-disciplinary stage (live action, film screens, voice over, etc.) to a book page, is a feature which the writer and agent thought impossible. Typesetting time: 6 weeks in 45 design sessions; 20 proofing files.

Cover image designed with generative graphic filters via GraphicConverter, starting from a favorite painting of Foreman, Portrait of a Girl and Her Dog by Jean Jacques Lequeu (ca. 1796–97).
