A 7×10" 454-page book with custom programming, semi-automatic composition (35 lines per page) with sidenotes, custom drop caps and icons, and 29 optimized black and white photo- graphs. Typesetting time: 7 weeks in 35 design sessions; 15 proof- ing files.

Cover design details:

7×10", spine size 0.918" (454 pp.).
Cover design features a photograph of Petri sitting on a camera crane. The display type pair is SM Schneid Handwriting and Berliner Grotesk, a distinctive design with a large x-height, short descenders and rough edges, useful for ‘loud’ headlines (both fonts are also used for headings, the casual script also for ¶ first lines and drop caps).
